Jared and I got married in January 2007. We are very busy with 4 old, Colt and a little girl, Landry Faith who 2 1/2 Jared works for a welding supply company. I'm about to finish my 5th year of teaching. We are both Christians and consider that the most important part of our life. We are blessed with a great family who have always loved and supported us.

Past the first hurdle
Colt had a biopsy this morning. I was nervous about him being put to sleep. He came out of it great. He's still sleeping right now but the DR. and anesthesiologist assured us that he did great and they got what they needed to diagnose the problem. The Dr. said that the best case senerio would be the biopsy came back normal and this blockage was just some fluke. But if it comes back missing the cells that are supposed to be there, then they'll diagnose him with Hircshsprungs disease. At that point they would make a plan for him. The Dr. said he likes to send the baby home and teach us how to use an irrigation system to keep him cleaned out for the next few months until surgery. They won't do surgery right away unless the enlarged colon makes him sick. Right now he's not sick and doing fine so the Dr. thinks he'll just send him home which would be great. So we won't know the results until tomorrow. So we could possibly bring him home this weekend! The irrigation should help get his colon back to normal size and then they would be able to do the surgery. So, I hope I haven't confused everyone. We're thankful that we have to many friends and family that are lifting our precious child up to God in prayer. Please continue to pray for us and pray that the results from the biopsy come back normal so we can take him home and not have to have surgery.
