Dr. Update

We went to the Dr. Wednesday for his shots. Everything was fine there. Thursday we went to the surgeon. He finally said we could stop doing the dilation's. He thought he looked great and was happy with his progress. He wants to see us in a couple of months but I think I'll wait till we're out in June. He just wants to make sure he's still "pooping' good after eating solid foods. He is up to eating 2 jars a day. He has had peas, green beans, carrots and butter corn squash. So far, the squash is his favorite. His tooth is poking through, he's crawling and pulling himself up. I know he's just gonna take off any day now. I just can't believe he can stand up. He tries to climb up the couch or chair. He's not quite strong enough for that yet but I'm sure he will be soon. I think it's time to baby proof our house!

More pictures and standing proof

Colt is definately a dog lover. He is so facinated by any dog that we're around. This is Roxie, my brother and sister - in-laws dog.

This is how we give Colt a bath. Either me or Jared will just put him in the shower with us. He loves it and it's so much easier

This is a very common expression

He will stand up every time i put him down in front of the laundry basket. Such a big boy!

6 Month pictures

We finally took Colt to get his pictures taken. It was so much fun and we got such good results. He did so good and smiled so much. We had a few more outfits but we realized we squeezed as many smiles out of him as we could get. He is such a big boy. I haven't posted in a while. Life has just been so busy! He is sitting up so good and so close to crawling. He can get up on all fours. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before he figures out how to move. He also did something very exciting the other night. I sat him down on the floor in front of me. There was a laundry basket in front of him. He grabbed it with two hands and started chewing on it. Then i could tell he was trying to pull himself up but I thought... there's no way he can do that yet. He's only 6 months old. But, to my surprise, he did it. He pulled himself up like a big boy! He stood up for like a minutes on his own. I was so proud of him (if you didn't notice already). So I'm sure we'll start preparing the house for crawling soon. As for now, I'm going to enjoy my Spring Break. We have 3 Dr. appts and two rooms to paint. Wish us luck!
