Graduation Day
Our sweet new pup. He's not really a pup. He's 4 years old. So precious!
Jared and I got married in January 2007. We are very busy with 4 old, Colt and a little girl, Landry Faith who 2 1/2 Jared works for a welding supply company. I'm about to finish my 5th year of teaching. We are both Christians and consider that the most important part of our life. We are blessed with a great family who have always loved and supported us.

We're still alive!
I know it's almost been 2 months since I've posted. Honestly, I've been enjoying only working one job. In our new house, we haven't bought a router so we can have wireless Internet yet. So we really don't get on the computer much anymore. When you take away the convenience of being able to be on the Internet anywhere in the house, the Internet seems to not be so important. We are doing good though.
Graduation was great. It's an amazing feeling knowing I finally accomplished something after working at it for so long! 4 days after I graduated, I got a job working as a first grade teacher at a school that's only about 15 minutes from our house. It's a title one school, meaning the majority of the kids qualify for govt assistance. So it will be a real challenge working with. However, i have a huge opportunity to make a difference in so many lives, so I'm very excited!
A few weeks ago we decided to get a dog. His name is Kit. We rescued him from a rescue shelter. He had been abandoned by his prior owners. He is a very sweet dog. He isn't a puppy. They think he is about 4 years old. He's mostly lab with some Chow mix. He is very shy around new people and we're not sure how he's gonna act around kids yet. So far he's only been around a few kids for a short period of time and he was very nervous around them. So we'll work with him and probably put him through obedience school. He is really the perfect dog for us because he doesn't require too much attention and he is pretty laid back. There's nothing like coming home everyday and him going crazy when i walk through the door. He gets so excited!
We made another step towards decorating the nursery. I'm starting to get nervous because we haven't done anything. And we only have 12 weeks before I'm due. I know it sounds like plenty of time but i know it will be here before I know it. So we bought the paint. And it's just sitting in his room ready to be opened. It's just finding the time when Jared and I aren't so tired from a long day at work. We will get it done though. My goal is to have it done before my shower on Aug 2ND.
I can't think of anything else major that's happened since I've posted last. I have lots of pictures to post but that will have to come later.
Oh one more thing... my last appt was on Friday the 13Th. He looks good and is growing. She said he's either gonna be a big baby or a long baby b/c he's measuring about a week and a half ahead. So I'm not sure if that means he'll be early or he'll just be really big. She assured me she won't let me deliver a 10 pound baby. My goal is to just get through the first week of school which is the last week of August. i at least want to meet my kids and let them know who their teacher is instead of them starting off with a substitute. So any time after the first week of Sept, he can come. I'm sure he's gonna come when he's ready. I'm such a planner, I have to come to the conclusion that I can't plan this time. We are getting very anxious though. We appreciate everyone that has kept us in the prayers and will continue to keep us in your prayers.
Pictures coming soon.....
