So we moved in last Saturday night. We have so much more stuff than we thought. I'm sure it will only get worse since we have more space to fill and a baby on the way. We bought a fridge and a grill and many other things that we didn't need for an apartment. The boxes are slowly being unpacked and taking up less space. The lovely people who lived there before us left the trash bin completely full so today we put out their trash. Oh and this morning, we didn't have any hot water. We realized that we have a gas water heater. The previous owners must have turned if off yesterday. So that's one more bill we'll have and one more set up and security deposit we have to pay for. But everything will work out. We're having a graduation/housewarming party in a few weeks so I have 2 1/2 weeks to get the house presentable. I'm kinda glad though b/c it gives me a deadline. WE eventually want to paint and decorate but for now, my goal is to get all the boxes un packed.
As for the baby, everything is going fine. I'm feeling more and more pregnant. I started feeling him kick a few weeks ago. It's the weirdest feeling. Every time I feel him, I try to get Jared to feel him too but of course he stops. I'm sure in a few weeks, I'll start feeling him more and it will be easier for Jared to feel him. At my last appt., my blood was drawn to test for downs and spina-bifida (spelling??) I guess no news is good news because they haven't contacted me. My next appt is on May 15th. I can't believe I'm already half way through this pregnancy! I can't wait to meet our little guy! We have a few clothes hanging in his room and a few other baby things. It's so strange to think that we're gonna bring a baby home in 4 months!
Oh and I have less than 3 weeks of school left. Graduation is on May 10th. I can't wait. Next Thursday is my last day at the elementary school. Then we get to be with the other interns to do graduation stuff and seminars and blah blah blah. It's almost over. After 9 years of school, it's almost all over!
Well, I think that is about all (as if there's not enough going on). I'll post some pics soon of my growing belly and some sono pics. My cord to transfer the pics to the computer is somewhere in a box. So who knows when I'll get around to posting them. Hope all is well with everyone.
